Our contracted landscape company is Seasonal Landscaping.

Spring cleanup services include:

  • Debris removal from plant beds and turf areas.
  • A balanced fertilizer will be applied to planting beds.
  • Broken or damaged branches will be pruned.
  • Planting beds will be edged.

Summer

Fall cleanup

  • Grass aeration is done typically in Sept/Oct.
  • Fall cleanup includes debris and leaves removed from plant beds and turf areas.
  • Perennials will be cut back where appropriate.

Mulching is the responsibility of the Homeowner.

Please do not engage Seasonal Landscaping workers during their regular operations. It is imperative that the workers be allowed to do their jobs without interruptions so they can efficiently service all our properties on their allotted schedule. If you have questions or concerns about landscaping, please contact an HOA Board Member. Please do not call Seasonal Landscaping directly, unless you are setting up some service for your home. Thanks for your cooperation.

For new owners the Village of Algonquin/Water Billing should be contacted and notified about the possibility of higher water usage due to newly laid sod. You can ask for a conservation forgiveness in case of use over 20,000 gallons of water per month.

SNOW

Snow Removal is done from Nov. 15 through April 15 only after at least 2” of accumulation. Once snow has been removed by our contractor, they are not responsible for the accumulation of snow resulting from blowing or drifting, snow pushed onto property by municipalities or snow pushed onto property by other snow removal contractors. The landscape company will distribute a bag of salt (if you want it) but it is the homeowners’ responsibility to keep their driveways, walkways and the sidewalk in front of their home salted to prevent ice buildup.

Blizzard conditions are exceptions and will be handled as soon as possible.
